Major Changes In NEET UG Registration
This year the counselling process has been made more digital so that students do not have to visit the college again and again.
One-Time Physical Reporting System: If a student chooses the Freeze option after receiving a seat, they will need to visit the relevant college to complete the admission process. However, students who choose the Float option will be able to participate in the next round and have their documents verified online. In such a situation, physical reporting to the college will only be required if the seat remains vacant until the third round.
Online Resign Facility: Eligible students will now be able to surrender their allotted seats online through the MCC portal, eliminating the need to visit the college and apply separately.
Other new reforms include online document verification, digitisation of NRI admission process, additional facilities for PwBD students, cyber security strengthened and an improved grievance redressal system.
