The Lawrence School, Sanawar was established on April 15, 1847, making it the oldest co-educational boarding school in India. It is also regarded as one of the oldest continuously operating boarding schools in the world. The school is situated in Sanawar, near the hill station of Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh.
