The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of over 99.7% of applications received for Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of the Class 12 Board Examination 2026, however, the Board is yet to make an official statement on the same.

The revised results have been released in multiple phases since June 21. The processing of the remaining applications is in its final stages, with the corresponding results expected to be announced shortly.

The re-evaluation process was carried out under the expert supervision of technical professionals from IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and the Digital India Corporation, as per CBSE. Their involvement was intended to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of the evaluation process.

CBSE released 87% of Class 12 re-evaluation results on June 21 following which several students alleged errors in the revised marks. Advocate Vineet Jindal said he had received numerous emails from Class 12 students highlighting serious discrepancies in the marking process.

“I have received a large number of emails from CBSE Class 12 students. Many have shared answer sheets that reveal serious errors in re-evaluation and marking. In some cases, students who never applied for re-evaluation in a subject have found their marks reduced. Such instances raise serious concerns regarding the assessment process,” Jindal wrote on X. He added that several students said they were prepared to pursue legal action and assured them of his support in seeking a fair evaluation and greater transparency. He further claimed that documentary evidence submitted by a student indicated that the CBSE had failed to follow its own prescribed procedures.

Jindal also drew attention to the case of a Class 12 student whose account on X had been blocked despite the student using the platform to seek the declaration of the delayed result. Questioning the move, Jindal alleged that students raising concerns over pending results were being unfairly targeted.
