The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced it is sending reminder to NEET UG re-exam students via SMS, email, and WhatsApp, asking them to download their admit cards for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21. The agency also warned students to stay cautious of fake messages and fraudulent communications.
In an advisory posted on X, the NTA said that official SMS alerts will be sent from the sender ID “NICPEP,” while emails will originate from “no-reply.neet.nta@nic.in.”
The agency also added it will share exam-related updates and centre details with candidates via WhatsApp. Students should verify that messages carry the blue tick and the name ‘National Testing Agency’; any account without verification should not be trusted.
The agency clarified that its WhatsApp service is a broadcast-only channel and will not ask candidates to reply, share OTPs or personal details, or make payments. Any such request should be treated as fraudulent.
Candidates who have already downloaded their admit cards for the June 21 re-exam need not do so again, as the alerts are mainly intended for those yet to download them. The NTA also noted that admit cards issued for the May 3 exam are no longer valid, as several candidates have been allotted new centres.
Candidates have been advised to access admit cards only through the official website — neet.nta.nic.in — by typing the address directly into their browser.

The agency emphasised that it will never ask for payments, send exam papers or answer keys, or share admit cards through external links. “If you receive any such message, do not click and report it,” the advisory said.
The NEET-UG exam for medical admissions was initially conducted on May 3 but was cancelled on May 12 following allegations of a paper leak. The matter is currently under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
