NEET 2026: NTA cautioned candidates against falling for fraudulent messages or individuals claiming to have prior access to the exam paper.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated complaint portal to allow candidates, parents, and coaching institutes to report suspicious claims and fraudulent activities related to the NEET UG 2026 examination. The move comes ahead of the NEET UG 2026 re-exam scheduled for June 21.

The reporting platform has been introduced to ensure transparency and uphold the integrity of the high-stakes medical entrance exam. Through the portal, stakeholders can flag issues such as rumours of question paper leaks, circulation of fake question papers or answer keys, impersonation of NTA officials, and other misleading claims linked to the re-examination.

In a recent advisory, the NTA cautioned candidates against falling for fraudulent messages or individuals claiming to have prior access to the exam paper.

What Can Be Reported

The NTA has outlined the following categories of complaints that can be submitted through the portal:

— Websites or social media accounts sharing fake NEET question papers

— Individuals demanding money in exchange for admissions

— Circulation of fake answer keys

— Cases of impersonation of NTA officials

— Fake notifications issued in the name of the NTA

“No one—repeat, no one—has access to the question paper before the exam. If you come across a fake website, a ‘leaked paper’ offer, or someone posing as an NTA official, report it immediately. We’ve got your back,” the agency said.

The complaint portal can be accessed at innovateindia.mygov.in/neet-ug-2026, while official updates are available on the NTA’s websites — nta.ac.in and neet.nta.ac.in.

NTA earlier issued a detailed advisory regarding refunds for candidates appearing in the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination, urging aspirants to remain vigilant against fraudulent activities. In its official statement, the agency clarified that all refunds will be processed directly to the bank accounts or refund details submitted by candidates on the official portal. Candidates have been advised to carefully verify that their bank details are accurate and up to date to avoid any delays in receiving the refund.
