CBSE Class 10 Second Board Results 2026 Date Time Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Examination or CBSE is expected to release the results for the Class 10th Second Board Exam 2026 soon. Once the results are released, students will be able to check their marks on the board’s official website – cbse.gov.in, cbse.nic.in, and on digital platforms such as DigiLocker, and UMANG apps.

CBSE implemented a two-board exam system for Class 10 for the first time this year. The second board exam was held between May 15 and May 21, 2026. This system aims to give students another chance to improve their scores in the same academic session. It also allows compartment students to take the exam without waiting for the next year.

Nearly 6.7 lakh applications were received for the second board exam. The majority of these applications were from students who wanted to improve their scores on the first board exam. Nearly 5.25 lakh students registered for the improvement exam, while over 85,000 applied for the compartment exam.

In the first board exam, a total of 93.70% of the CBSE Class 10 students passed the exam. Girls outperformed boys, recording a pass rate of 94.99% compared to boys at 92.69%
