NCST internship 2026 registrations underway, stipend of Rs 15,000 offered: Apply online by June 18


The National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) has started the online registration process for its Internship Programme 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes Grievance Redressal and Management System (NCSTGRAMS) portal at ncstgrams.gov.in.The application process is currently underway and will remain open until June 18, 2026, at 5 pm.

About the NCST internship programme

Under the internship programme, around 10 candidates will be selected in each intake. Selected interns will be posted either at the NCST Headquarters or its Regional Offices, depending on administrative requirements and seat availability.Interns who successfully complete the programme and maintain at least 90 per cent attendance will receive a stipend of Rs 15,000 at the end of the one-month internship period.

Who can apply?

Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:

  • They should have secured at least 60 per cent marks or an equivalent grade in their previous qualifying examination.
  • Students studying in the second year of graduation are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have already completed their graduation can also apply.
  • The commission may relax eligibility conditions in exceptional cases.
