JoSAA Counseling 2026: The round 1 registration and choice filling completed as well as the seat acceptance fee pre-payment and document upload completed will be held on June 11.
Candidates can register on the official website – josaa.nic.in, once the link is activated.
JoSAA Counselling 2026: The JoSAA counselling schedule has been issued along with the announcement of the JEE Advanced 2026 results. As per the official schedule, the registration process for JoSAA counselling will start today, June 2 at 5 PM. Candidates can register on the official website – josaa.nic.in, once the link is activated. According to the schedule, counselling will be held in six phases. The seat allocation result for the first round will be declared on June 13.
Only students who achieve the minimum cutoff in both JEE Advanced and JEE Main are eligible to participate in JoSAA counselling. This counselling is conducted for admission to BE/BTech programmes at 23 IITs, 32 NITs, 26 IIITs, and 47 GFTIs.

Registration and choice filling for academic programmes under JoSAA begins June 2. Pre-payment of seat acceptance fee and pre-upload of documents begins.
AAT qualified candidates can fill AAT options – June 7 onwards.

Mock Seat Allocation-2 displayed and choice locking – June 10
Registration and choice filling completed (auto/system locking); Seat acceptance fee pre-payment and document upload completed – June 11
Data verification and validation – June 12
Seat allotment (Round 1) – June 13
Online reporting: fee payment / document upload / query response – June 13 – June 26
Last date for fee payment – June 26
Resolving fee payment issues – June 29
Final response to withdrawal queries – June 29 by 5 PM
Round 2 Schedule
Seat allotment (Round 2): Online reporting / fee payment / document upload – June 30
Last date for fee payment – July 3 by 5 PM
Resolving fee payment issues – July 4 by 5 PM
Withdrawal / exit process – July 1 to 3 from 10 AM
Final response to withdrawal and other queries – July 5 by 5 PM
Round 3 Schedule
Seat allotment (Round 3): Online reporting / fee payment / document upload – July 6 – July 8 till 5 PM
Last date for fee payment – July 8 by 5 PM
Resolving fee payment issues – July 9 by 5 PM
Withdrawal / exit process: July 7 to 8 from 10 AM
Final response to withdrawal and other queries – July 9 by 5 PM
